What was your favorite TV season finale this year?
Submitted by Kristine.
HEROES.
I know, I just got done complaining that it was anti-climactic and whatnots, but after watching it again, I realized that it actually did fit.
Also once you take into credit that Tim Kring (creator of HEROES) mentioned that season one was only the beginning, it makes more sense. This was totally the set-up season. I bet season two will kick so much ass like nobody's business! I can't wait :D
ehem... I also picked HEROES because I didn't watch any other finale.
whoops.
wait, no I lie, yes I did!
And those were good as well!
American Idol and Dancing with the Stars...
although I'm beginning to like Dancing better than Idol. :P
If you could pick a cartoon world to live in, which would it be? Why?

One where black paint on walls is a mode of transportation.
horribly off topic, but it seems that Sendhil Ramamurthy gets more and more beautiful each time I see him.
How can one man be so gorgeously beautiful?! ;-;

What's the story behind a time when you got locked out?
Ooh, this is a good one!
Let's see...
My sister and I were walking home from school one day. We were in Germany, I was in the 5th grade, and it was snowing. While we were passing through the playground behind our housing complex and I took my keys out... just in case some creep wanted to kidnap us so I can stab him in self defense. Yea, I thought about that kind of thing as a kid. It was my house key with a Pikachu keychain attached!
ANYWAY!
Since I was wearing thick gloves, i kinda fumbled with it and dropped it in the snow. I bent down to pick it up, but somehow... it wasn't there. I uncovered ALL the snow within like a 5 foot radius of my person and the key WASN'T THERE AT ALL. I started crying, my sister was crying, and I was kneeling all over the dirt screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOO" and stuff...
So after a while of doin' all that, I took my sister and we walked into our building. I knocked on the door of our neighbour (who I never met before) and this middle-aged woman and a few cats answered. Sobbing, I asked her if I could use her telephone to call my dad because I lost my keys. She was really nice and let me use the phone while Mika waiting awkwardly by the door, wanting to pet the numerous kitties all over the house but she was kinda wet so she didn't.
After we used her phone we waited outside... the lady said we could sta and wait in her house, but I said we'd be alright outside. When my dad got to the house and brought us inside, he thought I was weird for asking our neighbour for her phone, but he said I was pretty smart for thinking about it.
Never found those keys :[
I asked all the neighbourhood kids if they seen it, and one kid said the neighbourhood bully sold the Pikachu keychain to somebody else. Bastard.
What is your current obsession(s)?

What is one of your favorite poems?
Submitted by marvel is my pen name.
Whew, good thing he said "one of" my favorite poems.
Here's one I always liked:
Invictus
by William Ernest Henley
Out of the Night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyonds this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
What's the most famous movie you've never seen?

THE GODFATHER.
I really, REALLY want to watch that movie still. And Goodfellas. All those great mobster movies I've been missing out on... ugh.
You're trapped in a (temporarily) out of order elevator - who would you like to be trapped with?
Submitted by tbtissimus.
Pfft, that's easy... Matthew Bellamy ;D
Well... I dunno, maybe not. Maybe one of my friends. Actually, y'know what? I'll go with Mr. Bellamy.
Probably due to the fact that (a) he's part of my favorite band (Muse), and (b) I might not get a chance like that ever again. I mean, hey, I can always call one of my friends up for a chat. It might not be so easy with this one :P
What would I do with Matthew Bellamy in the elevator, you say?
Smile and nod, tell 'im I love his band, etc etc. Probably discuss topics on conspiracy theories and quantum physics, because apparently he likes that sort of stuff, as do I. Well... more the physics part, not so much conspiracy theories, but whatever.
Then again, would talking be a good thing? I mean, we're taking up the oxygen.
...
Oh, don't we love QotDs!
I used to have QotDs back in high school... 10th grade World History class. It was pretty fun, especially when the questions were totally random and had absolutely nothing to do with the lesson plan (as they often did).
In which fictional world/universe/land/city would you most like to live?

HO, GEEZ!
Avatarland, FTW!
For those of you who don't know, I'm referring to the Nickelodeon cartoon show Avatar: The Last Airbender.
For a mostly kid-targeted show, it's got an amazingly complex plot and an even more intricate fantasy world upon which it is based.
The world the characters live in is comprised of four nations: the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, the Air Temples and the Fire Nation. Each nation is home to a different people, each boasting a unique culture based mostly on the peoples' "bending art." Bending arts, in Avatarland, is an ancient art that basically enables anyone gifted with bending abilities to control one element. Which element you control is based on the nation you're from, and not everybody is a bender. So there are waterbenders, earthbenders, firebenders, and airbenders, each with a different form of fighting and culture. It's amazing :D
There is also one spirit that is reincarnated from generation to generation called the Avatar, and s/he is the entity of the world, basically, in that s/he is able to bend all the elements (with proper training, of course). His/her job is to maintain order and balance among the four nations.
The creators of the show styled it after ancient civilizations and cultures, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Indian. It's incredible.
AH MUNNA LIVE THERE AND BE AN EARTHBENDER, AHURR-HURR :DD
